Fashi 1201: Clothing Construction I


Monday/Wednesday 6-9:50pm

3 credit hours, 18 weeks starting Monday January 25, 2016


Saturdays 9am – 2:50pm

3 credit hours, 12 weeks starting Saturday February 20, 2016

Basic sewing construction skills, including selection of pattern, fabrics, fit, shaping, zipper and button closures.  Students will create a dress, skirt and blouse during the course.  

This course is required for all Fashion Design AAS or Certificate students.  It is an elective for Fashion Merchandising students and complete the Contemporary Life Skill requirement at College of DuPage.  Anyone interested in learning how to sew and use commercial patterns should take this class.
