Prospective students can join us online for the following webinar which will cover topics including how to prepare a portfolio for admission and merit scholarship, submitting the admission application, and specifics about our transfer credit policy.

Transfer Student Merit Scholarship Deadlines

Students interested in transferring for either the Spring or Fall 2017 terms must submit their applications (including portfolios) no later than November 1, 2016 (Spring) or November 15, 2016 (Fall) for Merit Scholarship consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

SAIC will accept up to a maximum of 60 transfer credits, which includes 30 studio elective credits (or a maximum of 81 transfer credits which includes 36 studio elective credits for students who have already received their Bachelor’s degree and are seeking a second degree) with a grade of “C” or better from any accredited university or college.

SAT/ACT exemptions: Transfer applicants who have completed at least 15 credit hours of liberal arts credits including English are EXEMPT from submitting SAT/ACT scores as part of their application for admission. However, ALL international students must submit a TOEFL or IELTS score regardless of previous liberal arts credit earned.
