The Fashion Studies program at College of DuPage offers 2 courses in History of Costume. Both are required for AAS degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design. Students may take them in any order or together.
FASHI 1130-001 History of Costume I starts with Egyptian and Roman attire through the 1700’s, discover cultural and social influences on dress, be inspired by historical styles. Fashi 1130-001 meets Monday evenings for 12 weeks, 6-9:40PM starting February 10, 2014.
